Policy and Data protection
We collect various data about our participants. This is generally demographic information which is critical in publishing psychology research - we need to know how old and what gender our participants are.
Other information is collected when we are interested in certain questions and largely we try to use established questionnaires to assess attitudes and opinions. All data are recorded but are of course anonymous. We keep data securely and we do not pass on any information.
Your data will never be publicly published individually in any form.
As psychology researchers we adhere to various ethical guidelines as set out by the American and British Psychological Associations. If you are interested in reading more please click here for US guidelines or here for UK guidelines.
If you are taking part in the studies here you should note that:
1. You are free to drop out of the studies at any time.
2. You do not have to answer any questions that make you feel uncomfortable.
